MG Motors have launched their most awaited electric SUV - MG ZS EV at a starting price of Rs 20.88 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India.

MG Motors India yesterday finally announced the prices of its first electric SUV for the Indian market. MG ZS EV prices start at Rs 20.88 lakhs going all the way up to Rs 23.58 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India. Though during the launch, the British Marquee did mention that there was an introductory price for MG ZS EV which was between Rs 19.88 lakhs to 22.58 lakhs (ex-showroom) India. The introductory price so announced is for the first 1000 customers who had pre-booked the electric SUV prior to its launch.

India's first pure electric internet SUV - MG ZS EV has been launched in 5 cities for the moment. These cities include the names of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Mumbai. As per the automaker deliveries of the booked ZS EV's are set to start from the 27th of January 2020.

MG ZS EV comes loaded with 60 plus connected car features. These include the Current Battery Status, Charging Information, Eco-Friendly Updates, 360 Spider, Range Alert, External WI-FI Connectivity, Save Charging Station Information, Find Nearby Charging Station Via Voice Command, Check Battery Status via Voice Command among others. The electric SUV comes equipped with a 3-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 141 bhp and 353 Nm peak torque.

For customer satisfaction, MG Motor India is also offering e-Shield on the MG ZS EV that includes 5 years/unlimited kms warranty on the SUV, 5 year roadside assistance, labour free services and way charging infrastructure. A first by any manufacturer, MG also announced 3-50 Plan that assures a buyback value of 50 percent after 3 years from the time of purchase.

MG ZS EV comes in two variants namely MG ZS EV EXCITE and MG ZS EV EXCLUSIVE prices of which are Rs 20.88 lakhs for the former and Rs 23.58 lakhs for the latter (ex-showroom) in India.
