The company has launched its KUV100 Trip, which is targeted at fleet operators and cab aggregators, with prices starting at Rs 5.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and going up to Rs 5.42 lakh.

This is the first time a small Mahindra has featured a petrol-CNG option. This ‘Bi-fuel’ version is equipped with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine and makes 82hp when running on petrol and 70hp powered by CNG. The CNG cylinder in the boot has a 60-litre capacity. The other powertrain of choice is the 77hp, 1.2-litre diesel engine that’s shared with the standard car.

The KUV100 Trip is the pre-facelift E2 version of the hatchback and comes with air-conditioning, power steering and internally adjustable rear-view mirrors. You also get ABS as standard and the car is also fitted with an 80kph speed limiter, as per government regulations. The petrol-CNG Trip is on offer in five- and six-seat forms and you can get the diesel only in six-seat form.

Mahindra is also offering annual maintenance contracts which costs around Rs 0.35-0.40 per kilometre, and you can also upgrade the standard warranty to five years.
