Hyundai has finally revealed its latest hybrid SUV named Vision T. Know here how this concept car is a preview to the next generation Tucson SUV.

The South Korean auto giant – Hyundai has finally revealed its latest hybrid SUV named Vision T. This futuristic SUV was showcased in the Los Angeles Auto Show 2019. This concept car is a preview to the next generation Tucson SUV that will make its world debut in the year 2020. The Hyundai vision T uses the hybrid model and presents itself as a futuristic eco-friendly SUV.

The SUV is the 7th concept cars developed by Hyundai that aims to display its ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language. The Vision T SUV has a striking bold grille, a stretched bonnet, a coupe-style roofline, and LED headlights on the sides.

The SUV measures 4,610mm long and has a wheelbase of 2804mm that gives it good stability at high speeds. The grille features a Parametric Air Shutter concept which remains closed when the car is stationary. But when the SUV sets in motion the individual grille move in a pre-defined sequence that adds to the car’s dynamic character.

Also, the grille controls the airflow to the hybrid powertrain that optimizes aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. The SUV has a glass roof with a pattern on surface along with a luminous chrome Hyundai badge.

The company has not revealed any details of the Vision T’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. The charging port has been provided at the rear quarter panel. Blue light is used as a charging indication while a circular light cluster shows the charging level of the SUV.

While the concept car will be a preview to the next-gen Tucson but India is yet to receive the update for the current-gen Tucson.

Hyundai Tucson Specifications:

As present Hyundai Tucson is available in both petrol as well as diesel variants. While the diesel engine is powered by 1995 cc the Petrol variant has 1999 cc. The SUV is available with both Manual and Automatic transmission depending upon the variant. The SUV can give a mileage between 2.95km/L to 18.42 km/L depending upon the variant.
