Much awaited Honda Activa 6G is set to launch on January 15, 2020, in a price range of around Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000.
Honda Activa has a popularity for some period now as India's highest-selling scooter model. Honda Activa 5 G, the latest model comes with a BS4-compliant motor. Honda has stated that it will introduce the enhanced version of the Honda Activa on January 15, 2020, in compliance with BS6 emissions regulations. Appropriately, that enhanced version gets the brand name, Honda Activa 6G.
The new vehicle's highlight is its enforcement with BS6 emission standards. The Honda Activa 6G engine will be the same one that is accessible on the operating Honda Activa 5G. It is a 109.19cc HET air-cooled variant that generates a power of 7.96ps and a torque of 9Nm. The engine will be upgraded to meet BS6 standards. Apart from fuel injection technology, the vehicle will be fitted with a new idle-stop feature. The BS6 compliant engine can be expected to deliver relatively less power than the current one.
