Hero MotoCorp has introduced an upgraded package for the Xpulse 200, christened as 'Rally Kit' at the price of Rs 38,000 in the country. It can be availed at select Hero dealerships from March 2020 onwards while it comes with an array of accessories to make the Xpulse even more capable of off-roading. In fact, the company has also made the provision of buying individual accessories for the customers who are interested in purchasing the entire kit.
The Rally Kit has undergone total homologation in India by the company. It comprises of a fully adjustable telescopic fork with 250mm stroke as a front suspension while 10-step adjustable mono-shock with 220mm stroke features as rear suspension. Other elements include a tall and flat seat, enhanced ground clearance of 275mm, Maxxis off-road rally tyres, bigger footrests, elongated side stand, stretched gear-lever etc. to mention a few. The Rally Kit is available for both the existing and new owners of the XPulse 200. Though the motorcycles equipped with Rally Kit showcased at the event flaunted an aftermarket exhaust system the company has stated that it is not the part of the standard kit.
Being introduced in May last year, Hero XPulse 200 gets a 199.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which develops top power of 18.1bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 17.1Nm at 6500rpm.
