Although Hero recently launched the XPulse in India, Royal Enfield Himalayan is still an amazing option as far as ADV bikes are concerned in India. The retro looks of the bike combined with the engine of Royal Enfield has won the bike many fans and accolades, in India as well as global markets. The low-end torque of the Himalayan makes up for the low power of the bike and it is a popular choice among touring as well as off-roading enthusiasts. Now Spain’s Fuel Bespoke Motorcycles has created a custom version of the bike. The new custom version of Himalayan has been customized for sheer off-roading pleasure and can take on any terrain that you throw at it, not to mention that it is very attractive as well.

The attractive nature of this custom Himalayan comes from the precise combination of classic and bonkers look that the customizers have given to this bike. The customizations on the bike all add to the utility aspect of the bike and a lot of parts of the custom version of Himalayan have been kept stock in order to not compromise the strengths of the bike. Rather the customizations on the bike are incremental in nature as the bike has been customized especially for use in the Scram Africa expedition event. The extra functionality features and the attractive looks of the bike truly make it a bespoke creation and now let’s take a look at the changes made to the bike.

Starting from the front, this Himalayan comes with an off-road spec front mudguard that is coloured white and high-set. The same colour is used on the knuckle guards as well as the headlamp fairing in the bike, the fairing extends to add a small windshield to the Himalayan as well. The stock speedometer has been replaced for a unit from Koso that has custom switch panels and foam rally grips. The bike now also has a switchable ABS on offer, another incremental upgrade that the customizers have added to this expedition edition of the Himalayan.

The custom Himalayan also comes with a remapped ECU that bumps up the power of the bike, again an incremental upgrade. The new ECU is a Powertronic unit. The bike also has a mobile charger as well as new indicators, off-road spec foot pegs and a new tail light.

There is a carrier at the back of the customized bike and the seat has been shortened, however a full-size seat can be reinstalled on the bike. Since the bike in an expedition edition customization it has Pirelli MT 21 Rallycross tyres that come installed on the stock 21F/17R spoke wheels. The high set exhaust of the bike has been borrowed from a Suzuki RMZ450. The ‘fuel’ branding is visible on the red and white tank as well. Overall a superb modification job we would say.
