BMW Motorrad India has launched the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure in the country. BMW F 850 GS Pro and BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro are priced at Rs 12.50 Lakhs and Rs 13.25 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India), respectively. To be sold as Completely Built-up Units (CBU), the duo can be booked at BMW Motorrad dealerships with deliveries starting in June 2022. The standard equipment has been immensely enhanced in both the motorcycles as compared to their previous version in the market.



Both the BMW F 850 GS and BMW F 850 GS Adventure will be available in ‘Pro’ grade with the Style Rallye Package. The latter though can also be availed with the Style Triple Black Package and additional features in the form of TFT display and BMW Motorrad Connected, the USB charge port as well as ABS Pro and DTC. The duo flaunt asymmetric headlight and the GS-typical flyline upfront as standard. The F 850 GS comes in a Racing Blue metallic colour with design highlights including hand-protector bars, black fixed fork tubes, gold rims and galvanised radiator cowl. On the other hand, the F 850 GS Adventure is presented in a Kalamata metallic matt paintwork with gold rims and fixed fork tubes. It is also offered in a Black Storm metallic colour scheme as part of the Style Triple Black package.


Both motorcycles are equipped with a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display which can be operated via the BMW Motorrad multi-controller. The phone and media functions can be used without having to install an app. The rider can easily make telephone calls and enjoy listening to music with Bluetooth connection. In addition, the BMW Motorrad Connected app offers everyday-suitable and practice-oriented arrow navigation directly via the TFT display. The duo also boasts of ‘Rain’ and ‘Road’ riding modes. Along with Riding modes Pro – ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Enduro’, Dynamic Traction Control and banking capable ABS Pro are also available. Other features include Automatic Stability Control, Keyless Ride, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Heated Grips, Cruise Control and Dynamic ESA.
