BMW Motorrad India has launched the all-new BMW C 400 GT at a sticker price of Rs 9.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being offered as a completely built-up unit (CBU), it can be booked at all the company authorized dealerships. BMW C 400 GT will be up for sale in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad & Vijayawada, Indore, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Raipur, Cuttack and Ranchi. The premium mid-sized scooter can be availed in two colors namely Alpine White and Style Triple Black.


BMW C 400 GT Design & Features

Being based on BMW Motorrad design philosophy, the C 400 GT comes with twin LED headlight setup with LED daytime running light and integrated turn indicators. The German brand has provided two glove compartments and a flex case under the single-section seat. Some of the notable features of the scooter include Keyless Ride, Multifunctional instrument cluster with 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen with BMW Motorrad Connectivity App, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Practical arrow Navigation, USB charging socket and BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller. Additionally, a comprehensive range of optional equipment and original BMW Motorrad accessories are also available for further individualisation of the C 400 GT.


BMW C 400 GT Engine

Sitting on a rugged tubular steel frame, BMW C 400 GT is powered by a newly developed water-cooled 350cc single cylinder 4 stroke petrol engine. The engine develops top power of 34 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 35 Nm at 5750 rpm. It is linked to a CVT gearbox which propels the scooter to do a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 9.5 seconds while clocking a top speed of 139kmph. The C 400 GT rides on a 15-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel while braking duties are carried by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear in accordance with ABS. As for suspension, it boasts of a telescopic fork at the front and two spring struts at the rear. It gets a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometers’, with an option to extend the warranty to fourth and fifth year.
