India’s primary helmet manufacturer – Steelbird launched Blauer HT helmets with a starting price tag of Rs. 9,999.

Who is Blauer HT?

Steelbird collaborated with Blauer HT helmets last year in July 2018. The brand is known very well in the American and European markets as well. The brand is owned by Blauer World Fashion Srl, Blauer HT manufacturers and retails helmets, apparel, sneakers and other riding gear & accessories in Italy.

As per the agreement Steelbird would be manufacturing Blauer HT helmets at its production facility located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The produced helmets will go up for sale for both the domestic as well as international markets. To ensure the worldwide distribution of the helmets, Steelbird have tied with FGF Industry SRL.

Steelbird launched two new open face helmet models for the Indian market.

About the Helmets Launched:

The helmets have been named as Hacker and Solo who has a price tag of Rs. 9999. Both the helmers are made of fiberglass shells that are one of the strongest materials used in the helmet manufacturing industry. Also, both the helmets come with double visors, replaceable and washable interiors, painted air vents and available in different colors like Black, White, Titanium in matte and gloss finish.

Why are the helmets are so costly?

For the one show are not aware, Fibreglass shells are more durable and strong than the polycarbonate plastic which is used in most of the Steelbird helmets.

The helmets will be manufactured as per the European standards ‘ECE 22.05’, which are better than the ISI (Indian Standard Institute) protocols. In the event of crash, the rider stands a better chance of surviving as compared to the safety offered by low budget helmets.

The helmets will be available in XS, S, M, L, and XL which you can buy from Steelbird's official website or retail store.
