Benelli has announced its launch roadmap for 2020, and among the new motorcycle models expected for the year is a larger middleweight adventure bike in the TRK series, as well as a new supersport called the 600RR, and a slightly larger version of the modern classic of Benelli, the Imperiale.

Italian company Benelli, now owned by China's Qiangjiang Group, recently revealed their immediate product plans for 2020 at a press conference in China. They announced a new TRK 800 adventure touring platform along with a new 4-cylinder sport bike in-line 600RR.

Benelli announced new model releases from mid-2020, and the year starts with the development of already released models, such as the new and updated Benelli TNT600i naked bike in February, followed by the revised TRK 502X in March and the new Leoncino 800 in late April. The development plans also show the partnership between Benelli and Harley-Davidson in the production of the Harley-Davidson 338

Most specifically, from the middle of 2020, Benelli will focus on new models, and so far there has been no news about any of the power plant designs or requirements to be used on these bikes. The presentation slide shows the announcement of a new 600N and 600RR models from mid-May, probably the naked 600N, and the RR is likely to be a full-faired model.

Also, as illustrated in the presentation map, there are more models planned for 2020, including what seems to be a single 250 cc, probably a Benelli Imperiale 250, and the Harley-Davidson 338, derived from the Benelli 302S. The H-D 338 will be built specifically for Asian and Indian markets. Next up is another model, probably a slightly larger version of the current Imperiale 400, marketed as a 530, so it's likely to be the Imperiale 400's slightly larger single-cylinder engine to give it some extra power and pulling. Benelli's new middleweight adventure bike, the TRK 800, may have the same engine as the Leoncino 800, followed by the 600RR full-faired supersport later in the year.
