Kawasaki India has launched the 2022 Ninja 1000SX at a sticker price of Rs 11.40 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom) in the country. The deliveries of the bike will start from the first week of December across India. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX will be available in two color options namely Emerald Blazed Green and Metallic Matte Graphensteel Gray while getting Kawasaki’s Rideology The App with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity as a standard feature. It will directly lock horns with BMW R 1250 RS in the Indian market.

As for features, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX boasts of Electronic Cruise Control, 4.3-inch TFT colour instrument cluster, Kawasaki Quick shifter (KQS), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) and Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Brake System (KIBS). It comes with four integrated riding modes in the form of Sport, Road, Rain and Manual. In addition, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) is also offered with three modes and it can be switched off too manually. Riding on Bridgestone’s Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX features Power Mode with two choices: Full Power and Low Power. Needless to say, it is being sold as a CBU in India.

Mechanically, the 2022 Ninja 1000SX is powered by a BS6 compliant 1043cc inline four-cylinder engine which generates maximum power of 140 bhp at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 111 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The engine having electronic throttle valves is linked to a 6-speed transmission. The bookings for the bike has started from today. "The Ninja 1000SX is the true choice of every experienced rider who are inclined towards sports and touring riding with relaxed riding position. The complete package of style, performance, aesthetics, power and electronics, Ninja 1000SX comes with all functions and features that are required in a litre class sports machine," said Kawasaki in an official statement.
