Renault India has launched the 2021 Kwid hatchback at an introductory price of Rs 4.06 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The hatch continues to carry the 0.8L and 1.0L SCe petrol engines with both manual and AMT gearbox choices. The 2021 Renault Kwid comes loaded with dual front airbags as standard safety feature which is in line with safety regulations issued by the Indian government. The French brand had recently completed a decade in the Indian market and as a part of 10th anniversary celebrations, it has been rolling out several offers for the customers.

2021 Renault Kwid Variants and Features

The 2021 Renault Kwid is presented in three basic trims namely RXE, RXL and RXT besides the top-of-the-line Climber Edition which is only available with 1.0L SCE engine. The Climber Edition with MY21 upgrade now comes in a dual tone scheme with White colour and Black roof. It also gains additional features like Electric ORVM and Day and Night IRVM. The company has focused on safety aspects a lot more and hence equipped it with front driver side pyrotech & pretensioner. The hatchback remains unchanged in terms of engine and gearbox. The power output and torque performance is also identical to the outgoing model. Renault Kwid will rival the likes of Maruti S-Presso and Datsun redi-GO in India.

Renault India 10th Anniversary Celebration Offers

Renault has rolled out special offers for the customers this month with maximum benefits worth Rs 80,000 on the purchase of select variants across its product range. Apart from this, it has also introduced 10 unique Loyalty Rewards to mark the 10 years celebrations with maximum loyalty benefits upto Rs 1.10 Lakh which is over and above the regular consumer offers. The customers in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa can avail additional benefits from 1st to 10th September during the upcoming festival of Ganesh Chathurthi. The brand has also announced the Buy Now, Pay in 2022 scheme on the purchase of Kwid, Triber and Kiger, wherein the buyers can opt for a new Renault vehicle now and start paying EMIs after 6 months.
