To take on the latest Porsche 911, Jaguar has unveiled its facelift of 2020 F type sports car.

Although the car does not display any revolutionary changes, but the company has rendered assertive looks with the help of visibly sculpted surfaces and new clamshell bonnet.

The facelift gets deployable door handles and air vents, slender rear LEDs and new bumper design. One of the biggest surprises is the removal of the F-Type V6 engine. Form the year 2020, F type sports car will be available in two variants. One variant will have 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that will churn out 575hp at 6,500 RPM and the same continuing entry-level 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pushes 300hp at 5,500 RPM.

The top-spec variant of the F-type has an all-wheel-drive system and the plushest, sportiest R specification.

The car gets a complete revamp of spring and damper settings. This flagship car can reach 100kmph from standstill in just 3.5sec and can reach a top speed of 300km/hr.

For the first the car will be available in the “First Edition” guise with either 450hp or 300hp engines. The cars will have special active exhausts and the V8s will sport a quiet mode that will reduce the exhaust noise to a noticeable extent.

The interior of the car will have a 12.3-inch high-definition instrumentation screen. The infotainment system will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as over-the-air updates, as standard.

Each of the three models gets a unique lower bumper shape like the entry-level car gets a clean and sculptural shape, the R dynamic gets bold design with aero blades and R models get black bezels for the large lower air scoops.
